ported by Demos Athansopoulos, Department of Chemistry,

This is a very flexible version of the MOPAC6 system
which compiles using the Microsoft PowerStation(tm)
FORTRAN compiler. You must have a 32-bit chip and a
minimum of 8 Mb of RAM. This application will run
under Windows(tm) as a DOS application or simply as a
DOS application.
This system comes with three separate executables for
various size systems. There is a small version for 30
heavy and 30 light atoms. Eight Mb of RAM are required
to run this executable. There are large versions for
60 heavy and 60 light atoms as well as for 70 heavy and
70 light atoms. These versions require 16 Mb of RAM.
The memory extenders which will be required to run each
of these executables are supplied with the system and
will not interfere with any other memory extenders you
may now have in a config.sys file on your computer.
This system is exceptionally easy to use and comes with
numerous test data sets.
